Beautiful, Elavd!
Yes, one my dreams will come true!!!
I will soon be a proud owner of a Gibson ES335 !!!!
I say "will be", because I bought the guitar through ebay (it's a used one - 2002 model) and the seller just shipped it to me.
I feel VERY ANXIOUS to get this beauty on my hands :
I hope someday I will be able to get 1% of Larry Carlton's sound and feeling:

Oh, you lucky dog! It's a beauty. I'm lacking in the ES-335 area too...
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

Robert I think that you SHOULD GET one
Your playing deserves it...

I pick a moon dog.
Elavd, Conngrats!
It’s a real beauty. And the maple flame…just the way I like it. Not too much not too little.
Robert, go for one! You'll make that pretty thing melt in your hands.

Elavd, I'll second what Adrian30 said--that is one gorgeous axe!! I played an ES335 for a few months back in 1978, lived with a blues player who had one, and they are to die for!! The action on his was smooth and low, and yet he constantly complained about it needing a good setup. I can't imagine it could have improved the playability or sound, though--it was as close to electric guitar perfection as I've ever had in my hands.
Looking forward to hearing more about it (and from you on it!).
Dugly
She's a honey to be sure! Nice Larry Carlton clip too ude:
Can't wait to hear it.
Trev
P.S. Hey Robert, it'd be about time you got some "class" and picked up a nice 335-ish git. I'd like to hear what you can do with a set of 13's and a wound G-string I'm guessin' it would be very soulful and jazzy.
Me, I just crank 'er and let 'er rip and try to hang on at the edge of feedback control
Here's me with my Cherry Red HB-30...

Not to hijack Elavd's thread, cause that is one beautiful guitar, but I love that shot of you Trev. Knowing that you like a little Rockabilly (ala the Kingbees), I can just imagine you hanging on that edge, and maybe crossing over once or twice just because.
Elavd, can't wait to hear how yours sounds. :

Congrats Elavd! -02 model means that you´ll get the classic ´57 pickups, they sound awesome!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
Thank you all guys!!!
I can't wait the minute that I'll take her out of the case and play!
Superswede, yes it has the classic 57 pickups and also a fat neck...
