    Amazing.
I still have the Guitar Player magazine from when he was 18 and in the "new player' spotlight. It was just a few lines about how he would be up an coming player to watch.

EHrmmmm... SO do you have anything AGAINST swedish guitarists????
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Yngwie has still got his moments. What he plays over this progression is very interesting. Haven't seen him play that good in a long time.

I dont care much for "neo-classic" music, but not many guitarists can play like Yngwie..

Alright Robert... here's a video request for you.

For your next video posting, we'd like to see you sling your guitar 360 degrees (around the world) like Yngwie does at 1 min, 15 sec into this clip.

Just make sure you tightin the lock straps first! ude:

Oh, and unless you have 10 ft ceilings... you might want to try this one outside.

What's that?... you'll do it if you can use my guitar for the shoot?

So that was "very bluesy", huh?? Oh, yeah--I think I heard Buddy Guy do a number a lot like that recently....

While I certainly respect Yngwie's stunning technical prowess, this kind of thing just leaves me absolutely cold, musically. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I dunno, maybe my reaction to this stuff belies my lack of musical sophistication. Well, so be it....

And where's that Emperor Joseph II when you need him for an apt quote??
