After reading this thread, decided to go black today. It is interesting how you can taste more flavors that way if the coffee is good. Marnold, Sumatra was the first true gourmet coffee I tried back when Starbucks was a small Seattle hippy coffee store and not corporate. Still a favorite.

Here's an interesting fact, the contents of one of those 6-cup stovetop espresso makers fits neatly into one coffee mug. Ahhhhh... those were the days. Let me tell you the 5-day headache from the caffiene withdrawl was no fun, but not as bad as that guy in the movie Casino who Joe Peschi's character put in a vise.
