Default Strat Wiring for Neck and Bridge Together

I know this has been discussed before but over 14 seconds of searching didn't turn up anything Anyways, when I replace pups on my Floyd, I'm considering adding the ability to play the neck single coil and bridge humbucker together a la a Tele/my '51. I also want to have the regular five positions. I'd prefer to keep the existing switch, but that's open for debate. The controls on the Floyd are a single volume and a five-way switch, wired standard Strat style.

Is this a simple declaration of intention, a request for advice on how to do it, or a cry for help to talk you out of it??

Ah, found it. If you want "how-to" directions as I assume is the case, check out THIS POSTING I made a while back....

Arrgh! I changed the wording on that post so many times, I forgot to actually add the question! Sigh. Yes, I wanted to be told how to do it. Just now I also found this diagram on Seymour Duncan's site that shows the same thing as yours, DVM. I just wouldn't wire up the non-existent tone pots It seems like the simplest way to go.

the "neck on" push pull switch is great and you can then get a 7 way switch out of your regular 5 way...a neck/bridge and all three pups on.....

did it on my strat and I love it.

I guess the same could be done with a mini-toggle ? Any idea what that may look like (schematic) ?

Yes you can do a "neck on switch" with a mini toggle.....all a push pull pot is, is a pot with a "mini toggle" in it (if anyone knows a better way to put it then please tell me and the rest of us)....

I have also seen people wire up tone pots for the bridge position in a strat as well (something I wouldn't mind doing) but I just haven't got around to it.

I've known people who have had similar setups. I'm not sure I'm so keen on the three three-way mini-switches. I can barely walk and chew gum at the same time!
