You wouldn't have liked playing in the crater of Tongariro when I went across the plateau on Friday, Guttman. Deep snow on the lower slopes and near freezing temperatures at the Desert Road level.

Thanks. The smiling kid is my son Jack. The bored ones are my daughter Hannah and Jack's friend. They were all pretty tired, we'd just come back from a long walk out onto Paynes' Prairie, a large wetland area south of Gainesville that had once been a lake. We saw a ton of gators, and a few bison and some sandhill cranes.Originally Posted by pes_laul
Haha, thanks. I had broken my prescription ones I put clip-ons on, and had bought those to cannibalize a stem from, but I couldn't get the dang thing apart. So I just ended up wearing them that day. It was really bright out on the prairie.nice glasses, Krashpad =]

Brian,
Your daughter looks to be about the same age as mine - same look on her face, headphones (only to be replaced by cell phone when she is not text messaging).
Good looking family, who is the international spy with the kids?

Haha, the funny thing is, I just noticed I'm wearing the same shirt in both pics. It's my "guitars" shirt. I bought it off ebay for like $12 new. Immediately faded like a mofo when I washed it.Originally Posted by just strum
I still wear it though.

Here is one from my birthday last year when I was in Sumi's neighborhood. I am second from the left in the back, with the brown shoulders on the jersey. If we were holding instruments, it would look like an old album cover.
Here is my daughter and I as well, on the way our for Halloween. My oldest son is the scary one in the background.
