    IIRC wasn't this song about pot? I wonder what the people that did his arrangements were thinking one toke over the line meant? Maybe they got confused by the term Sweet Jesus in the song and thought it was some new fangled reference to salvation

    Ok, that was TOO funny. I like Welk introducing it as "one of the 'newer' songs." You think he meant that as code for "this song is about drugs?"
