My WM-4 is a true Les Paul killer and the LS 93 the = of a USA CS Fender and I paid less than $450 used for both guitars in all most mint shape!
Most Washburns are imports and they don't build many of the USA's so most folks have never seen or played the USA customs. those that have are usually blown away by them!!
Back in the early 90's ( much earlier that Washburn reveals in the add due to contractural obligations on the name to Jackson Guitars) Grover Jackson took over the USA Custom Shop for Washburn. He brought a few with him over from Jackson and then hired a bunch of guys from the Hamer operation when Kamen bought them out and moved out of Chicago.
