Default What's the temperature right now where you are?

Here in Camrose, the sun is shining, we have a little bit of snow... and it's friggin' minus 23 Celcius (-9.4 degrees Fahrenheit)!

I hate this cold weather. Vegas here I come! Leaving tomorrow.

Here [Tampa, FL] it's a bit overcast, but it's 82 F. Man I hate these brutal Florida winters.

The thing is, I kinda envy you guys where it's cold. Not that I want to freeze my butt off or anything, but growing up in NY/NJ taught me to love seasons. You don't really get seasons in Tampa. You get a few weeks where it could kinda be considered a cold fall, then it's spring for a few months, then 9 months of summer. It gets kind of boring. I miss snow.

-7 celcius here, perfect for a single malt whiskey by the fireplace
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

They are 35 miles apart - look at the difference in "chance of snow"

    Any spare bedrooms down south?

Damn! I think it's perfect weather for a single malt at my house too! In fact, just about any weather is perfect for a single malt.:

Hey Strum, come on down brother. Baby girls room is ready and waiting, although it might be a little frilly for your taste.

Here in Southern Cal's High Desert, about 100 miles inland from the Pacific, and about 3,800' above Sea Level, it's 40F at 7pm after a mid-day high of about 65F. Dead of Winter will be January, highs about 50, lows can hit 20.

It snows in the mountains surrounding & above us, going up to 8,000' or so, but down here? I think I've had to pull out a shovel about 6 times in 15 years. (If I'd waited til afternoon, that would be maybe once).

Temp drops about 30 degrees after sundown year-round. In August, we can hit 110-115 in the day, but drop as low as 70 overnite.
