    Default Greets

Hello all. A bud from another forum just told me about the fret net so I figured I'd drop by since I can't ever seem to get enough guitar in my life. I've been playing since I was in 7th grade and I'm 40 now so I guess I've been at it a while. I guess I'm pretty much a Les Paul guy but my collection consists of Gibson, Fender and Hamer. I've owned just about everything at one time or another and have a Carvin CS6 on the way.

Here's a quick pic of a few of my favs.

Welcome aboard. Those are some very nice looking axes. I particularly like the look of the Flying V.:

Welcome. You're pretty upscale for here but we can stand a classing up of the place.
Nice flooring and sheets too. That Carvin ever see any play time? It sure is pretty.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Not sure how useful I'll be at classing the place up. I'm not neerly as classy as my gear might suggest .

The Carvin in my gallery pics was sold a couple years ago. I was on a quest to downsize the collection to just a Les Paul and a Strat (and the 84 custom shop LP bought while I was in High School, planning on holding on to that one). I sold a bunch of stuff to get the ones I wanted. The Paul is a Historic 60 reissue and the Strat a US 62 Deluxe players. I thought I would be good with the two and was for a while. Thing is I always had a thing for Korina Vs, I found the Hamer and the collection started growing again. At any rate, I'm back up to 6 or 7. I ordered a new Carvin single cut when they announced them last week as I missed my old 127 and love single cuts even though I had just told myself I was absolutely done buying gear. I guess that's an advantage to being single with no kids as you get older. There's no guilt in spoiling yourself a little. . .

Welcome bigconig, That is a real nice collection of guitars and equipment. If you add that them to your signature, that will be one impressive list.

I think you will like it here and I have no doubt you will be welcomed here too.
