    I have voted for the original by the Kinks. I thinkg the attitude and the influences under which this song was composed/created to kick ahemmm, come best through in the original version.

    I voted for the VH version. I just like it better. I never really got into The Kinks (although I'm no VH fanboy either)

    When I first started listening to music back in the early 80s, I never was much into Van Halen. I liked the European metal bands of the time more. I only developed an appreciation for Eddie's contribution to guitar playing much later on.
