    It still looks like this.


    Our courtyard square, w/ limbs snapped. I never thought of the nativity scene looking like this before...lower LH corner, first pic....




    More broken limbs. It's not just here. This was very widespread, as far south as Kansas City, and as far north as Omaha and Des Moines.

    Despite all the damage, it's pretty........nature has a way of balancing itself.
    But it sure can mess up all the plans man has made.
    It's difficult to capture all this w/ a little digital camera.
    I hope no-one else gets this kind of weather, despite the cool look of ice-encased twigs on bushes.......

    That is some gorgeous destruction Oldy.

    I hope you n' yours (& them & theirs for that matter) do alright.

    Ice is the most treacherous stuff.

    There is something amazingly quiet and achingly beautiful about deep winter, but it often comes at a price.

    Despite our weather yesterday, it doesn't come close to that. I can say we dodged a few bullets all last week.
