That's a great looking guitar Kris.
Ibanez has always impressed me with their quality!
Happy Holidays...
Yep yesterday at christmas time my dad told me to take the tarp of of what looked like a broomstick or a vaccum cleaner (I know I spelled that wrong) and there stood a watery blue ibanez S470DXQM http://ibanez.com/eg/guitar.aspx?m=S470DXQM its awsome because I can play more than half a song and not have to retune afterwards. it's got what is called a ZR bridge that is like a floyd rose it's pretty cool. will have pics soon

Hey spud in your sig it says you have a S470 Now i got a question in one of my magazines it says you can remove a backplate with springs to make it floating. aint it already floating though? would it make it so I could pull the bridge UP even more?Originally Posted by Spudman
Woo Hoo, Kris! Nothin' like a shiny new guitar! Looks like a beauty - and it sounds like you've been doing the prep work for it! I, too, love a blue guitar. Have fun!

Don't mess with the tremolo unless you change string gauges. It should be floating already. If you do any trem spring adjustments remember that the bridge plate needs to remain parallel with the top of the body. Anything else will affect the accuracy of return and string height.
