Default Visual Sound Workhorse amps. Anyone heard of 'em?

I just heard about these new amps by Visual sound called Workhorse. There seem to be two (2) in the line: Stallion (60w 2x12) and the Pony (30w 1x12). Iwas sorta considering the pony for a decent tube amp for my band. any suggestions? Has anyone even heard of these before???

Never heard of them before your post. But from the description at MF, they sound sweet. A lot of features for the price, if you consider the "big" brand names.
Most of the reviews on HC are good, also, if you believe in that sort of thing...:
I especially liked the (presently) first post, where JW says "maybe mine was a dude..."

Here is some more info from the web site:

"Designed by Bob Weil and R. G. Keen."

    R. G. Keen posts to some of the amp related BBS sites I read. He really knows his stuff. I don't doubt that these amps sound very good.

    Here is Keen's FX/amps site:

I saw these advertised in Premiere Guitar magazine and have been wanting to try one ever since. They do seem to have some nice specs and they don't break the bank either.

Yes, I heard about them maybe 6 months ago. I always wondered how they sound.
