    Default Hi and Happy Holidays!

I found this forum about a month ago and really enjoy it. Made my first post this morning and have found how helpful everyone can be. I'm a hobbyist who took many years of lessons and then sold my Fender Strat and Amp after college (just one of many great ideas I've had in my life!) and just bought a new electric a couple of years ago (20 year gap) after I found I was playing my sons guitar more than him (and actually remembered some of what I had learned)! I'm really starting to get back into it and look forward to interacting and picking up tips/sharing ideas on this forum.

    Happy Holidays to All!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I wish I hadn't taken those 20 years off but...oh well. I'm definitely having fun. Trying to get my 12 year old son into it too. My daughter plays keyboard. When I took lessons, it was jazz/blues but I play mostly rock/blues (jazz never did it for me and maybe that's why I stopped playing?).
