    The vocal sound is really missing something without Gene Clark for my money. Good stuff though.

    Yes, The Byrds were one of the earlier bands I remember having (usually) great harmonies, and that jangly guitar sound interwoven w/ those harmonies. Loved their music.

    The Byrds always struck me as a band right on the verge of becoming Pretentious Hippie Band #768 That Makes Me Want to Punch a Kitten. And after all, any group that can come up with a song based on a passage from Ecclesiastes is all good in my book.
