Default Gretsch G5222 Electromatic Compact Amp

    Have you seen that one?

It seems quite the same to the Champion 600. Although I rather prefer the styling on this one, over the Fender.

Does anybody know if Gretsch actually made such an amp in the old days? (like Fender did with the Champ)

    Tragically cool Abraxas.

I love all these 5 watt tube amps on the market.

Hey VOX! Get your butt in gear!

How about a Laney? I think they've overdone the features though.

I recorded my first demo about 30 years ago through a Vox AC4 that belonged to our bass player. Time for a reissue, maybe?

No no no... the more you pay for a amp, the less features you get.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

    Default Gretsch G5222 Amp

The LANEY is tres expensive. The Gretsch will be about $195.00, which puts in right in there with the Crate, Epi, Peavey tube amps. In fact in will directly go against the Epi as it only has one knob!!

As SS sez, you can pay some moolah & get the better version without that knob .
