    I would bet it is.

    I have several guitars I've bought (albeit most of them used) for around $100 US, and all are playable. None are Deans, though.

    I have one of the EVO XM models and it plays much better than the price suggests...

    Dean seems to have some pretty nice looking stuff. The Soltero looks absolutely gorgeous .....too bad it's WAAAYYYY out of my price range
