Question What model of Strat is this ?

Hey folks, my neighbor got a new Strat for Christmas, I've been trying to figure out which one it is, can't seem to find the exact at Fender.com, close, but not quite.
It's new, MIM, rosewood fb, Kluson style tuners, bridge hb, middle and neck singles.. no problem so far right.. but it has a preamp in it. It seems like a Powerhouse but I don't think the powerhouse has a preamp.

    ?? any ideas ??

The deluxe powerhouse (mim) has a built in mid boost.. I think its controlled by the 2nd tone knob but I dont remember exactly..
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Yes, but not in combination with a humbucker; only the SSS version. Beats me what this model is.....

So maybe the preamp is for the Fishman piezo system, and not an active mid-boost like the Powerhouse or Clapton models have?

That's sounds exactly what my Nashville Power Tele preamp is for... the Fishman Piezo bridge pickups.

    I love those Piezo's! :

I think it behaves more like a boost then the Fisherman bridge, it has no acoustic qualities like Steve's Power Nash but gets dirty when you turn up that hair dial. At least that's what it sounds like to my ears.
