    Hello to everyone I found your nice forum through Robert Renmann of Dolphin Street website !

    I'm Jipes from Mulhouse in Alsace France. I'm playing mostly blues and folk music. my main influences are ry cooder, Buddy Guy, john mooney , Kelly Joe Phelps and Ani Difranco.I play in two different band mojo a blues trio playing covers of greats like Buddy Guy, Tab Benoit or BB King

    My main guitars are a 57 reissue stratocaster, an Esquire japan telecaster, a Martin D1 and a Johnson resonator JM998. My main amps are a Laney LC15 and a Fender Concert Amp (1963)

    Welcome Jipes! You have great taste in music.

    On a side note, my grandfather's last name was Pouliot, and his family emigrated from France, through Canada, to the US a loooong time ago. He never lost his very thick French accent. Unfortunately, his attempts to teach me the language were in vain.

    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
