    dagnabit..they put my VOX on back order for 42 days... it's now a cancel order item... oh well..maybe some other day I will have the feelings for one again..

    The Feeling returned... Now that I have given away my MicroCube , I just had to order another Battery Amp.... and the Vox DA-5 now comes with the Cloth front instead of the cheese grater!!!

    sweet looking little amp now.... It's on the way and Im finally getting a VOX product for the first time.. checkout the Classic look (piping and all) picture on MF...

    Who did you give your Micro Cube to Justa? I like the sound of those but I haven't heard the DA-5s yet.

    I gave a guitar and the amp to my daughter and son-in-law around xmas time as an added bonus for the holidays.. ... mainly...so I have one there when I visit...shhhhh.... lol

    I wonder how long you could play from the batteries does anyone know? G.A.S. is ever present around here that's for sure....I'm working on another Strat purchase too.

    I mentioned this wonderful little gem last year sometime. You might be able to find whatever I posted by doing a search.

    Needless to say I was pretty impressed and spent about an hour playing several guitars with it. I had the whole music store to myself so I could hear it clearly. With a Strat is was divine! I was responsive, toneful, and cute as could be (if you are into that). Pretty versatile and great to record with.

    Depending on the voltage you pick it to run at on the back of the unit, I believe it will run from 18-30 hrs on batteries. Unlike the MicroCube, the Vox requires C batteries instead of AA's.

    Are you all grating cheese again? I still have mine. Thinking about changing the speaker out. I still don't like the blanket sound on the AD30VT.
