Sweet... I love that theremin sound!
Check out this amazing performance on an instrument that is somewhat difficult to play.

You don't need callouses or a pick.
This is a great video on how it works too.

I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
Thank you. That was outstanding.

Tesla has used the Theremin on a couple of songs...Edison's Medicine, Mighty Mouse and Into the Now I believe are the 3 songs.....if Frank has the Theremin on stage right....you know you are getting one of these 3 songs in the setlist that night.
Funny thing is....for Eds Meds he is already playing acoustic and electric guitar in the same song.....so while he is strumming the acoustic mounted on a stand....he leans over and uses the headstock of the electric to play the theremin.
Here is a good video of Frank and the Theremin

John Zorn makes great use of the instrument on a few tracks on his project entitiled "The Gift." It's one of the coolest sounding instruments when played correctly.

I found another video of Pamela Kurstin, this time performing an original piece of hers called "Stockholm." Go here and scroll down and click on her picture. It's way, way cool.
