I've got to start listening to more progressive music. All the bands you've mentioned or links you've posted I've liked... I don't know any of the bands you've mentioned here, but I bet Lukather will be ripping up the fretboard.

Hey, do you think you could post a "Prog Primer" thread to get us progressive music noobs pointed in the right direction? That would be most informative, if you haven't already!

Ibanez RG 570 with a bridge Invader

There are a couple of sources for Prog information and listening that I use.

To listen to great Prog from your computer go to http://www.deliciousagony.com/
    The audio fidelity is awesome.

    For reviews and interviews http://www.progressiveworld.net/main.html

And my main source of info is http://www.dprp.net/index.php The Dutch Progressive Rock Pages

    Links for festival bands:
Tangerine Dream - popular instrumental group started in the late 1960s
Circa - three guys from Yes
Fish - British legend formerly of Marillion
Roger Hodgson - Remember Supertramp? Ya, that guy
Ray Wilson - Remember Genesis? He was with them for a while
It Bites - The 80's legends

The other bands on the festival roster are all good too.
