Thanks Robert. I have been working on this exact set of licks and this helped clarify some things. One question. Do you ever bar the first two strings with your first finger or should I actually focus on fingering each note/string?
Thanks again Robert. Keep up the skin man it drives the ladies mad

Hmm, I guess I never stopped to mess with Red House, but apparently it's in Bb (or, more accurately, B with the guitar tuned to Eb) right?

Marnold, that is right. Play it in B and you're good to go.
M29, do you mean the 1st lick? I kind of barre two notes (B and F#) with my first finger. If you look at the video you can see how I roll the finger back and forth when I switch strings. This so I can better mute the string I am not playing. Hope it makes sense.
Sunvalley - you know there's more than one way to skin a cat (or Swedish guitar player)!

She might wonder what vein you are referring to.

Yes Robert I see how you are rocking your first finger. I think these licks have been a huge benefit and have helped me break though some barriers.
Thanks again Robert.

Hello Robert,
I find it very astounding how exact you copy Jimi's phrasing and vibrato.
Thank you for the videos.

Thanks Jimi, glad you like my lesson! Today, I put up a premier download for an additional 5 Hendrix style licks. It's on this page on my website too.
