    Did not see this mentioned and I had not heard.(must of been under a rock for a day or so).

    Buddy Miles passed tuesday. Truly one of the best and unique drummers ever!!!!!

    Man, that's sad news. I've always been a big fan of Buddy Miles.

    I totally missed that one. How sad. I loved Buddy Miles, both as part of Electric Flag with Mike Bloomfield and, of course, his work with Jimi. Rest in peace Buddy, you were the man!!!!

    Whats sad is there was no mention on tv or on my msn hompage yesterday or today. In fact here is the top entertainment news for today and yesterday cause it barely changed.I learned about this in the eric coming to toronto thread here!!!!

    Buddy Miles was a drummer, noted primarily for his work with Jimi Hendrix. He had a long and prolific career.

    RIP, Buddy. I hope this doesn't sound too corny, but I hope that wherever he is, he's jamming with Jimi again.
