    Default Greetings all!

Well, this looks like a great site. I meandered over here from the Washburn forums after Street Music (known better to me as "Dad") told me about the site.

I just got started into learning guitar, but I've wanted to for years. I've got a Washburn Idol 64 DL and an X-33. Both sound great, especially the Idol with my new GFS Dream 180 pickups

As for my styles of music, it's pretty broad. I listen to classic and hard rock most often. I also like some European goth/symphonic metal. However, if you look on my Ipod, there's anything from goth metal to classical to new age. I'm not big into country music (some of it's not bad), and rap and hip hop I have no interest in.

Well, I look forward to learning to play and enjoying the site. Hello to all of you, play on!

Welcome Kodiac..while I agree the guitar can be a hobby I'm more inclined to think of it as a very long interesting musical journey that really never ends. you have definitely found the right place and group to learn a few things from. :

I didn't know that the Kodiaks got as far south as Kentucky.

But I guess you can call yourself a Kodiak if all the local bears are only 2D.

    What's to stop you?

    Welcome!
