Robert,
That sounds great. It's very angular and outside in terms of the notes but it still sounds fluid. Cool!

Here is a diminished scale lick that I think sounds cool. I will post the Guitar Pro file on the weekend.
The chord over which I am playing this idea is A13b9. Any inversion of the Diminished chord (in any key related) would work.
I used my new Macbook Pro with iMovie to create this.

Great Video, at this point it is outside my range but does open up a whole world of new possibilities.
I've been imitated so well I've heard people copy my mistakes.

Thanks guys. I know it's not the simplest lick in the world, but hopefully it can lead to new ideas. The fingering can get messy with this scale, since the design is whole-step, half-step forever. Symmetrical. The way the B string is tuned on a guitar screws up the symmetry somewhat.

Cool! Very different and melodic in that different way. You come up with some very interesting stuff!

How do you like your macbook? I am planning on getting on inthe next month or so and I am hoping it will make the video lessons and other music stuff a little easier...
