    Default Another new guy

    Hi all,
I've been reading for a few days, thought I might as well register and join the fun.
It sounds like I'm not the only 40+ guy starting out.

About a year and a half ago, I bought my son a Squier Strat pack and started messing around with it and soon became hooked. Then I bought myself a Seagull spruce S6, accoustic/electric on Ebay and I love it. I'm taking lessons now and having a blast.
The collaboration section is really cool, like online jam sessions.

I'm looking forward to hanging out here.

    Welcome!

The collaboration section is the best that you´ll ever find online..
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Welcome, there are a lot of people here that have been playing about the same amount of time as you and about the same age, so I think you will feel comfortable here.

There are also a lot of talented people here that like to pass along their knowledge.
