Yeah, I had never heard of the brand...Made in China.
Found this at the pawnshop near my office. Basswood body, cream binding, flamed maple top (real flame maple top, 4mm thick according to specs--no print), 34" scale, one-piece maple neck. Plays nice, much better than my poor beat-up Univox.
Got an excellent deal on it, and a nice bass for recording.
Here's a quick clip of it, DI into my M-Audio interface, going through the positions, and then with the treble rolled off 50%.
