Believe me, I hated to let it go, 'cuz that amph has killer tone. But at 30 all-tube watts, it was just W-A-A-A-Y too loud for my play-at-home needs. Feels good to sell it to an accomplished guitarist who will crank it up, the way it should properly be used! : :

You should just have joined a famous rockband, and kept the amp, Vood!
Look at that amp now, subject to being played over a phone! It probably feels ridiculed to no end now.

Oh, yeah--that's a good idea. With a daughter starting college in the fall, deciding to pursue rock stardom at age 57 sounds like a prudent financial course, don't you think?

Well, I'm hoping that phone thing was just an anomaly. If I hear of Spuds committing further "deviant acts" with it, I may have to stage an intervention!

Uh oh. Is this going to turn into one of those unplugged scenes? I don't know if I can handle that.

BTW - is there any way to make the amph louder?

Power Blocks have been discontinued. Rumor is that there might be something similar yet more reliable on the way. I have yet to gig with mine but would have no qualms about doing so. It's a fine amp especially with pedals.

    Default Nice

    Nice looking classic amp Spud.

I can only imagine how that baby sounds.

I'll have to learn how to listen to clips from this site.

At first glance I thought it was one of those Gibson point to point amps that MF practically gave away a couple weeks ago. This is even nicer.

Click on the link then click "play." If it hangs up then you need to hold the 'control' key as you click play.
