    Default Greetings!! I'm new here

Greetings fellow musicians and lovers of music! Today is my first day here at this wonderful website. My goals are two-fold and simple: To learn something new everytime I logon and visit a forum and secondly, to hopefully have all of you as my friends.

So feel free to pass along any meaningful jargon, tips, ect. I should also point out that any pointers/advice doesn't necessarily have to be strictly "guitar" related. I am ALWAYS yearning to find ways to improve myself: guitar and non-guitar. As I often tell people, I am a hard worker and play by the rules. Yet, I always seem struggling to get ahead: guitar and non-guitar. In other words, it's always that one "thing" that keeps the "one step up/two steps back" continuing. This is one area where we can ALL help each other.

    Let the playing/sharing begin!!

    Hello!

    I love your name..

    Welcome!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Now, that's definitely the most profound thing the Spudmeister has come out with in a while!

    Welcome, your Royal Highness!

BTW, does this make The Fret a monarchy now?? How about a coronation party? Anybody know where we can find a decent band??

    Default Mister Rogers Connection

Ah, I'm glad you caught the Mister Rogers Connection! LOL! I play a Robert Benedetto Guitar thru a basic Peavy amp. I like all kinds of music except Country and Rap! LOL! Well, some of the "old" country is o.k. Not that Big and Rich stuff. I don't get that.

Here's a link to better explain my guitar. Feast your eyes!:

Oh yes, I almost forgot. That gentlemen in my avatar in not yours truly but Jazz Guitarist Extraorinaire Joe Negri (who also had a prominent role on Mister Rogers Neighborhood).

Joe is an excellent and IMHO an underrated and underappreciated guitarist. Joe has his own website and here's the link:
