Why no necks with 8, 9, 10, & 11 strings?!?
Paw, useless!
Is there any musical use for something like this? It's 15.5 lbs, certainly not something you want hanging from your neck.

I pick a moon dog.
Un-huh! With my back I'd be able to lift it maybe once. Although it might be a good idea for Warren to wear one when he's makin' them pancakes!

I have enough trouble playing a guitar with one neck. Two is a daunting thought to me. THREE is just scary.
It might make a good shield! It's certainly big enough.

The only musical use for a multi-neck is for stage, when one guitarist handles a 6 & 12 string part in the same song. The Gibson 6/12 SG series model from the 60's is famous for Jimmy Page using one to do 'Stairway To Heaven'. Strum, Don Felder with your favorite band, The Eagles, used one to do 'Hotel California' live.
That triple neck sucker is just silly. 7-strings were hot stuff in the 90's but have had their day, so I understand.

I wouldn't think so... Steve Vai does some cool things with his triple neck Ibby though.Originally Posted by just strum
I can't imagine needing three different guitars in the same song.
