Welcome Dean V, and I remember that a friend of mine had one of these years ago. It was the model that looked like Hound Dog Taylor's old Kawai. I believe they called it the SS-4L on that website Warren provided the link for. At the time, they beat a blank, but Fender and Gibson were the holy grail, and eventually, my friend got a Gibby Melody Maker.

I'd love a bass that looked like the ET models!

First guitar was a Teisco a Blue 4 pickup , quite a beauty . My mother and father purchased it from the Aldens catalog with a cool tube amplifier . man I wish I still had that gear . The guitar was hard to play and never could get the neck right but the amplifier smoked.

Bob Dylan is said to have loved them, and Marc Ribot used one for a long time for his solo performances and on his "Saints" album.
Wish I could at least try one where I live but that's impossible. Apparently they haven't made it as far as Eastern Europe.
    Oh well.

Teisco's steadily pop up on Yahoo auctions here in Japan (Teisco being a Japanese company). I think they're becoming something of a collectors item, as the sell prices are steadily creeping up. You might want to hold on to yours for a little bit Pes.

The Teisco "gold foil" microphone/pickup has a bit of a cult following. Ry Cooder has a strat with one on. The bridge unit is an old Oahu lap steel pickup if you're wondering.

    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience
