    Default Listen to these Blues!!!

I don't push this guy's stuff because he is my friend, or because he plays V-Picks. I just love his playing! I've posted some of his clips here before. His name is Chuck D'Aloia. He has become my favorite player. I met him at NAMM this year and got to sit and noodle around a bit over a song with him. It was one of the highlights of my life! I like this guy's stuff much more than Robben's work. Check out these blues and let me know what you think........

Great playing, Chuck! Welcome to the forum. Head on over to "The Fret Players" section and give an introductory post, so we can give you a proper TheFret.Net welcome...

I could listen to playing like that for hours. You definitely need to travel down to Austin and play at Antone's, if you haven't done so already.

Dude! This track knocks me out!!! I called up the music leader at church and played it for him and he was, like "Yeah! That's what I'm talkin' about!"

You are quite a player, my friend. You are like talking to a very intellegent person with a wonderfull vocabulary and a very sweet, pleasing voice.

It is a pleasure to listen to you play, Chuck. You make me want to be a better musician and to work harder.

    Vinnie,

Man, I really like this guy's playing. He is hitting all of these things that I used to like about Larry Carlton and Robben Ford, and some ways even better. I've gotta get some more of his stuff. I love his tone and phrasing. I need to be listening to this guy.

Thanks for sending these tunes along. This guy is great!

Jim, did you realize that it's our member "cdtele" who is the player?

    Fantastic player you are, Chuck!

    Chuck,

I didn't realize that you were on this thread.
Fantastic stuff, I really like your playing.

I've been a devoted fan of Larry Carlton and Robben Ford for years. I hear their influences in your playing but you seem to have refined it a bit more.

You're a great player. I'd love to learn some of your lines.

I have seen quite a bit of Robben, took his clinic and got to be sidestage with his tech Dave. I love Robbens playing and approach, however, I prefer Chucks playing hands down. This guy is the real deal. This guys is what guitar playing is all about in my opinion.
