    Default urban blues

This is a rendition of a Dave Ray tune from the early sixties??

A friend sent a friend to a record store, to get the latest Blues Project album. The second guy came back with this record and the first guy listened to it and immediately gave it to me. I played it once and put it away for about 15 years. Had to wait until I was ready for it.

Anyway, here it is, fooling around on the Zoom MRS-8.

Old martin 016-NY, followed by a J28 tuned to open C. Rogue mando, that I can barely hold and a threadbare vocal.

This sounds great, Steve. Very authentic -- has that tin pan/New Orleans feel. Don't knock the vocal, I liked it a lot, would have liked it louder is all. Very cool recording.

Steve, that sounds great. I like the sound of the instruments and the vocals. Nothing really over powering the other and has that raw sound that I really appreciate.

    I give it : : : :
