Wha? Something of mine?
It may have been this one, Sun.
If so, glad you liked it. I'm not here as much as I'd like to be, but I usually
get to check in on weekends now.

I was revisiting my "The Fret" playlist on my iPod on the way to work and thought I would make sure the new players here have found the wealth of music made available by our own right here. I had a habit of adding anything a fretter posted to my iPod and have ended up with a great playlist to just enjoy or to learn from. Since many are instrumental, it is ideal for listening to ideas, phrasing, etc. for learning.
Below are a few of my favorites with links:
http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=4024 Let Freedom . . ., Jimi75
(Sweet singing guitar lead over a nice blues rock original piece)
http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=3324 Detente - StingX (smooth) Also, check out his Stones covers.
http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=2528 Brother - Jimi75 (a beautiful, personal piece, click "Brother" in the list of songs posted)
http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=5623 - Til' there was you - Vihar, also Old Guy does a take.
http://www.box.net/public/529q4bmmdm, Spud, Zeusse, DVM jamming in this thread http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=1834 A great Jam!
I have a couple more I want to find online that I can't right now, like one Spud did which has a really smooth LatinBlues kind of feel. Also I wish I could find one OldGuy did that I called his "Surfabilly" piece. I love that one and can't find it here anymore. I am also leaving off the great recordings by Frank Axtell and Jim Pfeiffer you can find on soundclick. Those are great too, just go to soundclick and listen to them. Robert's stuff at his site too. Also, there is more right here. The above is just scratching the surface.
The backers for some of these pieces are still available too (not Jimi's originals though) and mining through these member clips and collabs is really worth it. Have fun!
