    Default Hey Guys

    Hello from Scotland!!!

I came here through Robert's site (Its great! He's really inspired my playing ) and it seemed alot more friendly than the other guitar forum i'm a member of, so i decided to join

Ive been playing guitar seriously for 2 years and would describe myself as "intermediate". I have an ibanez grg170dx (basically a cheaper version of an rg), A vox ad30 (Robert sold me on that one...), a yamaha fg120 acoustic and a crappy zoom multieffect pedal which I never use. My musical influences include Eric Johnson, Joe satriani, Slash, stevie ray vaughan, Jimmi Hendrix, Joe Bonnammassa (?), Paul Gilbert ect....
I am saving for a fender stratocaster, so expect alot of threads about that in the not to distant future....

I am also a (very bad!) violinist. I am considering taking up running... (I ran 1500 metres in 8mins 3 secs...Is that good/bad?) I also have incredible apostrophe placing skills. And yes.... I do like Sesamea Street

    Well.....Thats about me...

Oh yeah....Can someone please explain the whole GAS attack thing...Thanks

    Bye

    Cookie Monster,

Welcome to the forum. As you can see, we like to have fun. Tone was kind enough to post a video to commemorate you joining the gang. You are probably the only one or at least a limited number of fretters here that has a video and a puppet that represents your name.

    Enjoy yourself and post often.
