    Default PODxt Live!

Well, I just got a chance to mess around with my PODxt Live, even though I had to do it through my PC, still waiting on my amp.

This thing sounds great!!!! Can't wait to hear it through an amp!!

If anyone here owns a PODxt device, an update has just been released!!!
It adds 6 new amp models, 4 new stompbox models, and 7 new wah models, WOOT!!

    AMP MODELS added:
    Marshall® 1974X (18W Reissue)
    Marshall® JCM 2000
    Orange AD30TC
    Vox® Fawn Non-Top Boost AC30
    Dumble® Clean
    Soldano SP88

    WAH PEDALS added:
    Vox® V847
    Custom Vox® V847
    Colorsound® Wah-Fuzz
    Maestro® Boomerang
Cry Baby Super – Jen Electronics
    RMC Real McCoy 1
    Arbiter® Cry Baby

    STOMPBOX EFFECT MODELS added:
Bass Overdrive (based on* Sans Amp Bass Driver)
Bronze Master (based on* Maestro® Bass Brassmaster)
    Bender (pitch bend effect)
    Sub Octaves (synth effect)

    So in total
    AMPS = 42
Stomp Box = 88 pro-quality stompbox and studio effects
    Cab Models= 24
    Mic Models = 4
Wah Models = not sure, didn't know how many was in there to begin with,,hehe

Also a new bass pack has been released.

That's the only reason I decided to try it out through my PC,,LOL

Also I can't wait to hear my Ibanez through it! I think the EMG's built in pre-amp, in Black Betty, kind of clouds things up just a tad.

Zoso - Thanks for posting the info on the POD XT update. I'm on my way over there now!! Now that there's another active POD user on the forum, perhaps it's time that I revive a few of those old POD threads.

So Nelsk, howzabout a Zoom G2/Pod XT A/B review?

I promise not to wiggle my finger in obscure directions if you promise to keep your nose outta the dictionary!

And deny you the opportunity to purchase a POD XT, and find out for yourself - first-hand? I wouldn't even dream of it. As for the finger quip, that requires even less justification on my part.

Yikes! I just realized that my finger was freighted with waaay more baggage than I meant it to carry. Meaning for me is too fluid I suppose. I meant it to refer to the innocent concept of pointing. As in over that'a'way. Rereading now, I am *sure* that some (if not most ) fretters probably believed that I was wiggling quite a different finger indeed.

Apologies to all and with a cherry on top for our favorite bard.

Finger kept a wigglin'...ain't gonna wiggle round that'a'way no mooOOoore!

Naw, I'd get a Tonelab if I was gonna part with 3 Benjamins. I was just wondering whether Zoom is using the extra processing power & sampling rate to full advantage, or whether Line 6 has better modeling mojo.

    Leafing through my handy lexicographon:

    Mojo:

    1) Something about a hand (see duh Voodoo man).
    2) Something a hootchie-cootchie man has.
    3) Stuff before the semicolon in meaning three; Algorithms.
