    I saw a demo of this guitar at the Consumer Electronics Show in January this year. The most impressive thing about this guitar is that it separates all 6 strings into different signals and lets you route them independantly to different amps and different effects if you want. This is kind of a cool idea but I was a little dissapointed. It seems like they could have done a lot more with this digital guitar than just provide a fancy way for you to separate each string and route it any place you want. I was expecting to see some kind of modeling in the way Line6 is doing but it doesn't appear to be doing any of that stuff. Just the fancy signal routing. But I looks like a great setup for people that want to get a bigger sound for live playing.

    How does this differ from hexaphonic output from guitars with synth access?
