Well Kazz I know you are happy and "it" looks nice and the "D46" is in good hands.

The "it" and "D46" will be understood after you catch up on your reading.

My son who plays....(twin 17 year olds on June 4th) was sitting with me as I unveiled Ashlee to the entire household....He had a capo with him and I asked him to clamp it on for me....not entirely sure how you use such a device....then I promptly went to work....at around the 4 minute mark....things were going well.....around 7 minutes....man my fingers were burning.....I played for about 3 more minutes.....and put her down....and my son sad.....Dad......what was that you were playing.....it was really good.....and I said "Son,........I was just messing around LOL" It was just a simple 2 chord progression with a really heavy acoustic rhythm not sure where it came from.....it was just what was in my soul at the moment and needed an avenue to escape.

I have to be gettin me one of them there capo thingies.....while the D46 has a much wider neck than my Parkwood therefore I can fret a standard C chord pretty cleanly.......once the Capo is applied at the 2nd fret the neck is as wide as a tree trunk...and even my old clumsy hands can be nimble :-)

I also fired off a pm to Dreadman to inquire about some tuner buttons that could compliment this

a little better.....the chrome heads on the 18:1 Grovers just jump out a little too much....This guit fiddle is screaming for wood tuner buttons. Other than that...I can see a bone saddle and ebony bridge pins in the near future....the white pins look kind of out of place to me on the huge but rich butterfly bridge.

Not complaining mind you.....my taste is different than some....at the end of the long weekend.....this is one flipping awesome guitar, and I am thankful to own it....
