Pedaltrain pedalboards

They are really popular, and reasonable in price.
They come in 3 different sizes, and you can get them with either soft or hard case. I am getting one! The PT-2 is my choice.
Anyone here digging the Pedaltrain boards?
I am getting one because my home made pedal board is falling apart. For me, the time has come for a more professional product.

Well the big one is HUGE! I can't see me needing that. I wouldn't fit myself on the stage if I brought that board. I could always get a JR in addition to the PT-2, in case I have trouble fitting all my stompers.

Robert - I purchased the PT-2 with the softshell bag earlier this year. It works great for occasionally haulin' the few pedals I have. Keeps things nice and neat. Still have plenty of room for more. Now I just need to learn how to *use* my pedals.

Dang! I had a good chance to win a use Pedaltrain on eBay, but I forgot about it just before the auction, so I never got a bid in. Dang! It went for $108 with the hard case.

Do any pedalboard users have their setup so certain pedals are run through the effects loop, while others are run straight into the amp?

That's way too complicated, David. Cables everywhere, nah, don't go there unless you must. I know my DD-20 delay sounds better through the fx loop, but I run it in front of the amp, since it's so much more convenient. I also kinda like pedals in front of the amp; they tend to push the amp a little harder.Originally Posted by Algonquin

Thanks for the reply Rob... I was kind of scratching my head on whether it was worth it or not, and the cables would be too much grief. I'll try and see if I can work something out with my little Boss 6 pedal board, or if I need something a little more versatile like the Pedaltrain.

I do. I run my modulation and delay through the effects loop of my amp. I use a Pedalsnake. I've got a picture of my board in the pedalboard page. Here's the snake. I can run not only audio through the lines but also MIDI and power for the pedals. I think they are pretty cool and they keep things nice and neat.
