    Default The hippie hippie shake...

As you "old members know, every now and then I do this crazy "lets dump all my gear and get new stuff" ritual.

Ah well, evidence one is here for your amusement.

I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Wow! That might be dubbed a Flower King strat! I love it! The neck is gorgeous too. So what did you dump?

    Purdy baby. Like far out.

Those are hard to find for a reasonable price. I trust it was a good score.

Ooh, Ooh, I know this one...

That would be none other than Ed King, better known for his great Strat work with Lynyrd Skynyrd....

Give that man a CEE-GAR!! Absolutely correct. It always seemed to me that there was pretty much of a transoceanic-sized musical gap between the guitar work on Incense & Peppermints on one hand and Skynyrd classics like Sweet Home Alabama or Saturday Night Special on the other....

I think he was only 17 or 18 when he played with Strawberry Alarmclock. He certainly got really good over the next ten years or so...:

Well, its Japanese and I havent seen one of these in years.. I think its from the limited reissue series 93-94.
Its basically the same guitar as the pink paisley strat but with a even stranger 3d flower pattern (from what I hear all these guitars are slightly different).

One piece maple neck with vintage tuners, the specs seems to be the same as the MIJ ´57 reissues.
Not the lightest strat that i´ve played, but not extremely heavy either.

Its not new but its almost in Mint condition...

The pickups really does that vintage strat sound well, but it doesnt seem to handle distorsion too good.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

I miss that daily dosage - It took me a second before I realized what you were saying. I think it was because I use to have a shirt like that.
