    Default Optician gig today

Our duo had a gig to today in an Optician store. Kinda boring, not many people there. A radio station was there and mentioned our names repeatedly in the radio though, so hopefully we got some good exposure that way.

Myra's acoustic guitar ran outta batteries, so that sucked. In order to change battery, she has to take the strings off. What a stupid design.

Did she have a backup? You know, it always seems that if something's gonna break or go wrong, it's gonna be in the middle of a show, usually when you're playing is top notch, and you're feeling pretty good about things.

No she didn't have a backup, but we manage okay with just my guitar. It's typical things break when they shouldn't!

That would have been a good opportunity to grab her guitar and do a Pete Townsend with it. It looks killer on the radio.

Spud, I bet it sounds like a killer with a acoustic guitar as well

Robert, looks like you have to talk her into getting a new acoustic. What a strange design!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
