I have just under half the money and my dad's probably gonna help me out a bit.:

yeah I thought I needed a bigger amp now that were out gigging and I thought this would be perfect. I've always loved crates distortion.

I wonder what It would sound like through my power block?

Those are pretty cool and pretty loud too. If you're looking for a solid-state in that price range, I'd also give the Peavey Bandit 112 a serious look too. The Bandit 112 is rated at 80 watts (100 with an extension cab I think) and is priced the same too.

The Peavey has different voicings too that will give you vintage to modern/metal sounds too. The Bandit sounds a little more tube like to my ears.

Either amp will give you plenty of volume though. Good luck!!
Guitars: 2003 and 2004 American series strats, Squier Classic Vibe 50's Strat, Squier Deluxe Strat.

Amps: Line 6 Spider IV 120, Vox AD50VT 212, and Peavey Transtube Bandit 112.

    Pedals: Digitech Bad Monkey.
