    Here is little insight into how the dynamic duo of Becker/Fagen operate. It includes vocal, bass and guitar tracks soloed. Cool.

    Steely Dan is one of my all time favorite bands. What a bunch of talented musicians :

    Really amazing that's how you discover how much talent is needed to so theses wonderful songs of Steely Dan. I always thought that the solo part was Larry Carlton but I was wrong :

    I love these guys.. insanely great musicians and songwriters.
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

    Saw that some time ago and it's a great documentary of how they work. These guys are perfectionists, and coupled with incredible song writing talent produced some of the best American music. I have all kinds of CDs and I still listen to them often.

    A few years ago I figured out how to play their version of "East St. Louis toodleloo" because I've always wanted to. I had to change things around for the keyboard parts so I can play that on a guitar.
