Default Joan Jett Signature Melody Maker

Finally found a source for this and ordered mine today. After a couple small mods I intend to gig this to death: Joan Jett Signature Melody Maker

For some reason I thought you ordered this already from Sweetwater.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing the reviews. Can you share what sort of mods you are looking to do?

Sweetwater didn't get any and couldn't even get a lead time on getting one... finally found one in North Houston.

They are a very cool looking guitar I gotta admit. What's even more outagous is that a guy my ages actually has a Runaway's album at home somewhere....

Got mine at Fuller's Vintage Guitar... $6C's & change, free shipping, no tax. Should be here on Friday.
Gotta get it first... I want to try out a SD Hot Rail Stacked Single in it. I'll try out a few pup options.

Yeah, but I don't think she plays for that team... or so I've heard.

Not that there's anything wrong with that (obscure Seinfeld reference). I still have a huge crush on her. She's my rock and roll goddess fantasy : Punk, leathers, guitars, all tatt'd up...

    *sigh* it's just dreamy!

Haha, a man after my own heart.

I saw here play in a midsize club years ago, while she still had her original lead guitarist Ricky Byrd. Great great stuff.

And lots of women with close-cropped hair.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Um...Punk, Leather, Tattoo's.....you could do a LOT better than JJ...

Check out Brody Dalle formerly of the Distillers

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSvgAlH_bRU

+1 She's got an awesome voice
+1 Her lyrics are lot more genuine and less bubble gum than that JJ clip posted above
    +1 She's HAWT
    +1 She's originally from Melbourne
+1 She plays Maton guitars (ever wonder how Josh Homme discovered them?? See Below)
+1 She's straight (although she's now married to Josh Homme of QOTSA)

If you like that "soaked in whisky and cigarettes" voice married to music that varies from flat out punk (sing sing death house) to a more hard rock sound (drain the blood, the link I posted) then check out the Distillers.

And did I mention she's hot? hehe

I love those concerts where the women go bottomless.
