Default Kid Andersen - Norwegian Blues player

Some couple years ago I saw a young bluesguitar player in a small club on the Westcoast. Had a drink with him talked for a while - he said he was from Norway and moved to the USA.

Now I see that he became pretty popular in the scene. He is a great player and I am quite sure that we will hear more from Kid Andersen.

Here's a video impression. He's got a decent tone and phrasing.

"A lot of people in the industry want to blame downloading for the state of the business. But I think if most music wasn't shit to begin with people wouldn't be downloading it for free," - Corey Taylor (Slipknot)

    Good player.

I saw him at Biscuit & Blues when I was in San Francisco. Somebody recorded some of those shows & uploaded them.

Great club & a great player!

The guy that recorded those shows has an interesting site

I also saw David Landon at Biscuits & Blues

But the truly killer show while I was there was Billy Cobham's Spectrum Revisited at Yoshi's in SF (yes there is a Yoshi's in SF as well as in Oakland).
