    Default Fender hot pickup?

    Hello,

I am curious as to what pickup this might be. It is advertised as American Fender hot. http://cgi.ebay.com/American-Fender-...QQcmdZViewItem

Any idea what guitar this would be from or any other info?

    Thank you in advance.

It could be from any American Standard. Get the poster to define "hot." Maybe they can give you an ohms reading on the pickup so that you can determine if it really is hot..or not.

M29: Marnold is correct .It is the new alnico3 hot from a highway.........By the way I have bought many parts from this guy .He is awesome and his stuff is all new parts from authentic fenders.

I am hoping they release these as a set.

Thanks guys. I did a search on Fender Hot pickup and got a bunch of links to Fender noiseless pickups. I thought that was odd.

    Thanks again.

Yea they have a vintage noiseless set and a hot noiseless version like claptons, becks (absolutely nothing to do with the pup in question ,as for no confusion)

Most likely what google was spitting out
