    Default Im a Newbie

    Hey guys.

I been playing for about 6 years now. Only really starting to dedicate alot of time to it now though.

I have an Ibanex RG320, Ibanez EX370, Squier Fat Strat, Epiphone Special, Tanglewood Acoustic, Samick Acoustic and a Samick Bass.

I heavily favour the Ibanez's but i do like to have variety.

I play through a Behringer LX1200 head through a BG412 cab, and bass through a Laney 100 watt Linebacker.

I have quite a few pedals, but my fav would be a boss ds-1, phaser and boss chorus.

My influences are John Petrucci (all of Dream Theater really), Satch, Paul Gilbert and Bullet For My Valentine

    Welcome to The Fret.net!

Warren will give you a proper greeting later.
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

    Welcome!

Maybe you could be an advocate of creating an Ibanez forum! ()

Edit: I appologize. Joe Satriani plays an Ibanez, so it's all good.

Welcome KP, I sold an Ibanez recently - big mistake.

I think you are going to like it here and learn a lot about different makes and models.

Hope you post often and don't be afraid to ask questions, that way I'm not the only one.

Its not a bad head. I stupidly sold my 100 watt tube fender when i bought it. I wish i kept it now because the behringer head isnt very powerful.
It does have some cool stuff being a digital modeller but not really gig friendly. I am thinking of selling actually lol
