Any Canadians moved to complete wireless for home telephone ?

Competition in Canada is limited for telephone services.
Have any Canucks stepped over to a cellular format to replace there home phone ?
I haven't looked closely at the numbers, just always assumed it didn't make $ sense.
I would think a couple advantages would be no more annoying BS calls at dinner and of course the convenience.
Thoughts ?

Not sure about the cost effectiveness by going only cellular, but it might work out fine, probably depends on how much calls you make.

We have canceled our Telus account and we are now using Voice Over IP (VOIP) which is much, much cheaper for us. It's through our local cable company, so we get phone, 70+ tv channels and Internet all for one monthly fee (around $100). Pretty handy. Only drawback is the phone audio quality is as certain times not great, but mostly it's fine.

Fido is offering a hybrid "one number" service whereby your home phone connection is thru a WiFi connection to your land line (or maybe VOIP?), rather than cellular. The handset/phone switches to cellular when out of WiFi range. You still might need your landline, but one number would be convenient I think.

That said, Fido cell coverage in my 'burg is non-existant. :
