Wow, you must have a lot of spare time these days Robert!
Thanks again for contributing all these video lessons!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Keep that SRV comin', Robert! Now, that one I've played quite a bit.

Here's a little variation on the way you play it--instead of the E-G#-B-C#-E-G#-B... bass shuffle pattern you played, I like to roll up to the G# through a G:

    E-G-G#-B-C#-E-G-G#-B...

You can even bend up from the G, if you prefer, for a little different sound. Ah, the endless possibilities!

Nice one Robert, I hope part two with the Rhythm section appears also.. After getting side tracked to a nylon and now the Bass, all the guitars sounded a bit tinny to me.. I got to dial in a sound on the 51 and played the beginning here and enjoyed the simple instruction you provided.. first time did it.. kinda sorta.. but get lost in the Rhythm part doing the texas shuffle... Another Renman winner.. thanks again..

Just to let you know, I've updated this lesson. Hopefully it's better and more informative. It now covers the cool turnaround lick too.
